Diegetic Sounds

The diegetic sounds in this are the sounds that the subjects can hear. 

These sounds include:

• The simultaneity scene where you can hear the alarm of the phone at the end.

 Non-Diegetic 

The non-diegetic sounds in this video are the sounds that Chandler, Zoe, Cayley, and Luca cannot hear. These sounds include:

• The parallelism scenes with Zoe, Cayley and Luca. This adds clarity to the emotions of the subject in the video.
• The simultaneity scene has non-diegetic sounds with the suspenseful music. Although the subjects cannot hear this, it gives the viewer the sense of suspense that the characters already feel.
• Leitmotif has been discussed in the original post.
• The background music creates an upbeat tone for the scene, as the scene is upbeat.
